They come in multiple different sizes and colours (the 36mm variant is new for the Cube Pro). Instead, the major ongoing cost here is the labels. The Brother P-Touch Cube Pro is a B&W thermal transfer printer, so you won’t need to worry about replacing the ink. It only takes the right tool to find them again. It kickstarted a theory I’m working on: no matter how old 2000s kids get, there’s still a sticker kid hiding inside all of us. Somehow, the Cube Pro had connected them all to a long-forgotten urge to collect stickers. But while stickers lost their hold on the kids of the early 2000s, it turns out there’s still a sticker kid lurking inside each of us - and this was extremely apparent when I brought the Brother P-Touch Cube Pro out on Twitter. There were cameras that created sticker memories, stickers that contained beads or jewels and even ‘dress up’ stickers that let you decorate cardboard dolls.Īs technology advanced in the 2000s and the sticker craze died down, it was quickly replaced by other, more exciting ventures. Stickers were a form of currency in schools during this period as kids traded stickers for recess or a turn on your Tamagotchi. They had to be fun, or have some kind of gimmick. The gold stars teachers would give you for performing well (the nerd stickers) didn’t count. It had to be the right kind of sticker, though. If you weren’t rocking a sticker collection filled with Bratz dolls, holographic Digimon or scratch’n’sniff fruits on the playground, you weren’t cool. The early 2000s were a boom period for sticker fiends. There is another, equally important market for the new printer, though: sticker kids from the early 2000s. If you’re keen on organisation or you’re looking at selling any kind of product, the Cube Pro is a worthy business companion. With all that out of the way, the only thing left to do was decorate. With the Pro, we give you 24” of horizontal real estate to let your noggin roam wherever your dreams may take it. We even added an extra size–the 4” but still offer the same thickness options as with our classic. get their roll on) we broke with tradition and widened our classic Pillow Cube to create the Pillow Cube Pro. The 6” Pillow Cube for broad shoulders, heavy heads and hard mattressesįor people that switch sides while they sleep (A.K.A.The 5” Pillow Cube for folks in the middle of the bell-shaped curve. To make a pillow that was truly for everybody, we decided to start making our Classic Pillow Cube in three different thicknesses. We were thrilled with the results, but unlike the rest of us, the pursuit of perfection never sleeps. The solution seemed almost too simple, but by creating a pillow with a 90-degree angle out of dense viscoelastic memory foam, we found that the gap is almost completely eliminated and the neck and head get all the support they need. This leaves both the neck and spine misaligned, leading to poor sleep and chronic discomfort. We found that even with traditional pillows, there is still a huge gap between the head and shoulder, which causes the neck to bend at an uncomfortable angle. Pillow Cube started to solve a problem all side-sleepers face getting the best head and neck support, while still being able to lay on your side. It is a real shame it can’t be used in other positions. This pillow had me sleep a whole night comfortably and waking up in the same position, on my side. Most of the time Ill sleep on my side and then wake up the next morning in a completely different (usually unhealthy, like sleeping on my stomach) position. It gave me some of the best side sleep Ive ever had. In the end though the pillow cube is extremely good in doing what it is advertised for. I think maybe having a contour built into the pillow for your head would be a good solution. This makes the pillow (in my opinion) EXTREMELY uncomfortable to lay down on in any other position. However, due to the verticality of the pillow there is a large gap kept between your upper back and the bed which would usually be filled by your shoulder. I decided to roll over onto my back and lay my neck down on the pillow so I could look up at my phone. The pillow isn’t very convenient for doing just WHATEVER you want with it. Unfortunately the problem with the pillow struck me that morning. Great for side sleeping!… But sadly not much else… Personally I am a side sleeper so I was happy with the pillow cube I got when I went to sleep that night.
